i think that pledge music can help a lot of young up and coming artists due to its popularity on social media. Having artists who already have a name for themselves and artists who are just joining the music scene can be good to find new talent. Some of the artists have wide range of merchandise, some of the artists agree to do meet ups and private parties etc. this can help increase the fan rate of the artist because they're interacting/getting to know your fans. besides having a quality website quite the majority of the reviews have been low due to the fans paying for their merchandise and not receiving anything. this makes it seem that the artists are just trying to make money off the website buy their overly priced items that didn't make it home.
